Where they go

NEC 110.16(A) requires switchboards, panelboards, industrial control panels, meter socket enclosures and motor control centers in other than dwelling units, that are likely to be worked on while energized, to be marked to warn of arc flash hazards. Under NEC 110.16(B), service equipment rated 1200 amps or more also needs a label with the nominal voltage, available fault current, the clearing time of the service overcurrent device, and the date the label was applied.

Values from your study

If your arc flash study gives incident energy, PPE category or boundaries for each piece of gear, type those values in. We engrave exactly what you send, so copy them from the study carefully.

Colors

ANSI-style signal colors: white on red for DANGER, white on orange for WARNING, black on yellow for CAUTION.
